Allyson Alston, Mars Veterinary Health Global VP of Data & Analytics

We are pleased to announce Allyson Alston as the newest member of CDO Magazine’s Global Board. Alston is the Global Vice President of Data & Analytics for Mars Veterinary Health (MVH), where she leads the D&A strategy for a global network of more than 3,000 veterinary hospitals across 24 countries, supporting over 30 million annual pet visits and more than $10 billion in revenue.

In this role, she is responsible for defining and executing the Data & Analytics growth strategy across cloud platforms, data engineering, analytics, AI, and data governance, with key initiatives that include driving data modernization and developing AI and large language models to convert unstructured, multi-language medical records into actionable insights for veterinary professionals and business leaders.

A senior data and analytics executive, Alston has nearly three decades of experience building and scaling enterprise data, analytics, and AI capabilities across various industries. She previously served as a Managing Director at KPMG LLP and Practice Leader for Insurance Data Management & Analytics, where she led complex global client engagements in data strategy, governance, cloud platforms, and advanced analytics, including AI-driven solutions.

Alston holds an MBA in Competitive Strategy and Finance from the University of Florida and a BS in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Dallas. Based in Chicago, IL, she enjoys playing tennis and golf, and relaxing with her rescue dog, Jade. Most recently, she was recognized in 2025 by CDO Magazine among the 2025 Global Data Power Women and as one of its 2025 Top 25 Chicago Data Leaders.
