AGCO Corporation Appoints Kala Iyengar as Chief Data and AI Officer

(US and Canada) AGCO Corporation, a global solutions provider for sustainable agriculture, has appointed Kala Iyengar as Chief Data and Artificial Intelligence Officer. In this role, she will lead the company’s global efforts in data, AI, and automation to support its “Farmer-First” vision and drive progress in sustainable agriculture.

Iyengar brings over two decades of experience in the software and data industry, with a strong background in data product development, AI, data governance, privacy, and analytics. She is known for championing data democratization and promoting ethical data stewardship across organizations.

Before joining AGCO, Iyengar served as Chief Data Officer at Delaware North and Cognizant. Her previous experience also includes over a decade at Equifax, where she held several senior leadership roles, including Vice President of Data Privacy & Protection and Senior Director of Technology in Data & Analytics. 

Throughout her career, Iyengar has been recognized as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, delivering innovative and compliant data solutions while advocating for strong data governance and organizational data fluency.
