Aegon Appoints Sean Cook as Global CDO

(US and Canada) Global financial services group Aegon has recently appointed Sean Cook as Global Chief Data Officer. Before joining Aegon, Cook served as AVP Data Management and Finance IT at Pacific Life, where he played a pivotal role in creating and implementing the data strategy for the company’s Life Insurance Division.

Prior to his role at Pacific Life, Cook served as Chief Data Officer and Director of Data Management at Genworth Financial. He firmly believes in the power of technology to enable business strategies and has applied this philosophy to startups and established companies across industries like Financial Services, Insurance, Healthcare, and Telecom.
