(US and Canada) Advance Auto Parts has just welcomed Kunal Das as its Senior Vice President and Chief Data and Analytics Officer (CDAO). Das brings a wealth of experience and expertise to further strengthen the company’s data and analytics capabilities.

Before joining Advance Auto Parts, Das served as the VP – Data Products and Analytics at Lowe’s, where he led a global team of 500 associates across the U.S. and India. In this capacity, he collaborated with diverse professionals, including data scientists, data engineers, data analysts, software engineers, UX designers, and product managers, to bring AI/ML-powered data products to fruition.

Das’ influence extended across all retail business functions, including merchandising, supply chain, marketing, digital, and stores, enabling the delivery of impactful business analytics and insights by leveraging Lowe’s robust big data platform.

With over 16 years of extensive experience in analytics and data science, he has held significant leadership roles at renowned companies such as Target and Aon Hewitt. His academic background includes a master’s degree in Statistics from Delhi University, underscoring his strong foundation in quantitative analysis.

He holds a position on the CDO Magazine Global Editorial Board, showcasing his contributions to the field of data.
