Abhi Seth, Boeing VP, Information Technology and Data Analytics – CDAO, Joins CDO Magazine Global Editorial Board

(US and Canada) We are pleased to welcome Abhi Seth to CDO Magazine’s Global Editorial Board. Seth is Chief Data and Analytics Officer (CDAO) and Vice President of Analytics for Boeing’s Information Technology and Data Analytics function. He is responsible for the oversight of global data strategy, analytics platforms, and enterprise artificial intelligence capabilities.

Seth has a track record of leading analytics modernization and delivering value in a variety of roles across multiple industries in the U.S. and Asia. Prior to joining Boeing, he held senior executive positions with TE Connectivity, Honeywell International, and Caterpillar Inc. As Chief Data Officer for TE Connectivity, he was responsible for data and platform strategy, AI innovation, and technology, and was pivotal in directing value-driven analytics transformation on a global scale.

At Honeywell, he established the first analytics center of excellence and led connected aircraft strategy, building and monetizing AI offerings for airline customers. His team also developed enterprise AI deployments that created value for supply chain improvement, manufacturing production, sales, and pricing functions.

At Caterpillar, Seth held several roles within research and development, business strategy, and information analytics, where he led the development of AI solutions for Caterpillar’s mining, construction, and marine customers.

As a leader in the technology community, Seth is an expert advisor at the International Institute for Analytics (IIA) and has received several notable accolades for his work, including the IIA ANNY – Excellence in Analytics Award (2018) and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Young Engineer of the Year Award (2011). As a Data Science for All (DS4A) mentor, he is passionate about championing diversity within STEM and analytics.

Seth holds a doctorate in Mechanical Engineering and Human-Computer Interaction and a Master’s degree in Industrial Technology from Iowa State University, Ames, Iowa.
