(US and Canada) Verinovum, a leader in health data curation and enrichment technology, has named Steven Peterson as Chief Information Officer. He will support the company’s goal to deliver clean, actionable data to payers and providers by leading the roadmap, strategy, and technology investments. Peterson will guide the people, processes, and technologies within Verinovum to ensure measurement, clinical improvement, and innovation opportunities for clients are fully realized.

Before joining Verinovum, Peterson was Chief Technology Officer at Proficient Inc. in Greensboro, North Carolina. He managed all aspects of product development, quality, operations, system architecture, and related business processes. He restructured the technical team using modern software deployment strategies to enable a new product direction. Peterson also served as Vice President of Enterprise Architecture Primary at MedFusion Inc., leading the architectural oversight of the company’s development efforts.
In addition, as Director of ProviderLink Technology at Covisint, he managed the company’s ProviderLink solution, which provides a SaaS health care communication management program to connect more than 14,000 users at 450-plus health care organizations.
Peterson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from North Carolina State University.
