(US and Canada) Snowflake, Inc., a cloud computing–based data warehousing company based in Bozeman, Montana, has appointed Sully McConnell as Head of Insurance.

McConnell is an innovative technology leader with over 25 years of experience. McConnel has deep subject matter expertise in the data management and analytics domains. He has broad technical depth, a strong orientation toward customer and employee satisfaction, excellent motivational skills, and experience implementing and scaling agile delivery practices in large, complex organizations’ data and analytics functions.

Before joining Snowflake, McConnell was the SVP, Chief Data Officer of The Hartford Insurance Group.  He managed the Enterprise Data Office organization, collaborating with business executives, functional leaders, and CIO partners to develop data architecture, technology, and data ecosystem roadmaps, supporting data and analytics needs for each of The Hartford’s business segments and functional organizations.
