(US and Canada) Peter Jackson has joined Outra as Chief Data and Product Officer. Jackson, a director at data consultancy Carruthers & Jackson, previously worked as Chief Data and Analytics Officer at Exasol.
Jackson is regarded as a data evangelist, a hands-on, practical leader who has served in several senior data positions. He has delivered data transformations, developed data teams and operational models, and has an immaculate track record of innovation and leadership working with diverse enterprises.
Jackson is a specialist in data strategy, data maturity, data literacy, data analytics, data tools, data science, and data governance. He has co-authored three best-selling books with Caroline Carruthers — “The Chief Data Officer’s Playbook’ (1st & 2nd editions) and “Data-Driven Business Transformation.”
He also co-founded the CDO Summer School with Carruthers,a 10-week program (based on their books)which has more than 900 international alumni.
