Deep Srivastav, Franklin Templeton Investments SVP and Head of Digital Transformation
(US and Canada) We are pleased to welcome Deep Srivastav to CDO Magazine’s Global Editorial Board. Srivastav is the Senior Vice President and Head of Digital Transformation at Franklin Templeton (FT), responsible for the company’s artificial intelligence and digital capabilities strategy and execution. He is also responsible for AI research and innovation, managing FT’s digital product offerings, and driving digital transformation for the enterprise and clients.
Srivastav was previously FT’s head of digital investment solutions, overseeing the digital product roadmap and leveraging financial technologies, data science capabilities, and related investment advice. His other stints at FT include the global head of data and analytics and the head of business strategy for North America. Srivastav also led client analytics, capital market research, data sciences, digital analytics, data engineering, business intelligence, and business strategy.
Before Franklin Templeton, Srivastav was the head of solutions and operations at Oracle Financial Services, a technology manager at GE Capital, and an engineer at Tata Motors.
Srivastav holds a bachelor of engineering in electronics and an MBA with a focus on quantitative research and marketing. He has a certificate in quantitative finance from the CQF Institute. In addition to holding various data-related certifications, Srivastav is a GE Capital-certified Six Sigma Black Belt.
He co-authored “A New Approach to Goals-Based Wealth Management,” published in the Journal of Investment Management, and won the Harry M. Markowitz Award in 2018. Srivastav’s other co-authored papers have been published in multiple academic journals, including the Journal of Banking and Finance.
A member of the Evanta-managed SFO Chief Data Officers Community, Srivastav also serves on the Global Business of Data Advisory Board, the Fractal Analytics Client Advisory Board, and the Journal of Investment Management Advisory Council.
