(Europe) ComplyAdvantage, a London-based company that produces AI-driven financial crime risk data and fraud detection technology for the financial industry, has appointed Jim Anning as Chief Data Officer.

Previously, Anning worked for a company that developed a global payments network based on the bank-to-bank payment system, GoCardless, where he was Vice President of Data. Before that, he served as Head of Data & Analytics at Hive.

“This new executive role reaffirms the central importance of quality, comprehensive data to our mission and products,” ComplyAdvantage shares in a LinkedIn post. “Jim’s expertise and leadership will be instrumental in driving innovation and keeping us at the forefront of the fight against financial crime.”
