(US and Canada) Chicago Trading Company (CTC), a proprietary market-making firm with floor and electronic operations in the derivatives market, has recently appointed Marla Dans as Head of Data Management and Governance.

Dans is an accomplished executive with more than 20 years of experience and expertise in data governance, large-scale asset management operations, data programs, global IT portfolio management, risk management, and enterprise records retention/eDiscovery systems. She works with C-level management to shape strategic direction and long-term vision.

Before joining CTC, Dans was Head of Data Governance at Tradeweb. In addition, she served as a consultant for data programs across financial services, worked for JPMorgan’s Chief Data Office, and worked for Morgan Stanley IT for over 18 years in roles related to application development, DevOps, infrastructure, and information security.
