(USA and Canada) We are pleased to announce that Sol Rashidi, Chief Analytics Officer at The Estée Lauder Companies, Inc., has joined the CDO Magazine Editorial Board.

Sol joined The Estée Lauder Companies (ELC) as Senior Vice President, Global Data and Analytics and Chief Analytics Officer in January 2021.Sol at ELC is working to further implement a data-first mindset, ensuring that data and analytics remain at the heart of business operations.

Prior to joining The Estée Lauder Companies, Sol served as Merck’s Chief Data and Analytics Officer, Commercial; Sony Music Entertainment’s Executive Vice President and Chief Data Officer; Royal Caribbean International’s Chief Data and AI Officer; Ernst & Young’s AI, Data & Analytics Partner; and Soli United’s Chief Information & Digital Officer. Sol also worked for IBM for eight years, where she was involved in the launch of IBM’s "Watson" and pioneered some of IBM’s advances in Enterprise Information Management.

Sol earned her MBA, Strategy & Leadership, from Pepperdine University’s The George L. Graziadio School of Business and Management in 2005, and her BS in Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley.
