(US and Canada) We are pleased to welcome Bharath Prabhakaran to CDO Magazine’s Global Editorial Board. Prabhakaran is Vice President and Chief Digital Officer at the University of Cincinnati. He is responsible for driving UC’s digital transformation toward its Next Lives Here strategic direction. UC is one of the top urban public research universities in the U.S., with more than 47,000 students and an annual budget of more than $1.6 billion.

Prabhakaran is a proven technology leader with over 25 years of experience in technology. He served as Deputy CIO at the University of North Texas System and in multiple leadership roles in the private sector. He drove multiple transformational initiatives at Oracle, JP Morgan Chase, and Razorfish and has been recognized with various awards for innovation and customer success.

Prabhakaran has a master’s degree in computer science from the University of Maryland and a bachelor’s degree in engineering (with a major in computer science) from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science in India.
