(US and Canada) Global consulting company Belcan has recently promoted Matt King as Chief Security and Data Officer. King is an accomplished and results-driven leader with more than 20 years of experience in security, technology, and operational support. As a company, Belcan is recognized worldwide for its provision of high-level IT, consulting, and engineering services to clients operating within the automotive, defense, aerospace, and industrial sectors

King has proven results in leading the implementation and maturity of security programs and enterprise-level solutions by utilizing methods, concepts, and principles for security and infrastructure strategies. Prior to his current role, he was VP of Global IT Security where he was responsible for all IT security across the U.S., Europe, and India.

Apart from his role at Belcan, King and his team work with Cincinnati Public Schools and Lakota Local Schools to actively engage in educating, mentoring, and facilitating cybersecurity internships for high school students. He is also a member of CDO Magazine’s Global Security Board.
