(Europe) Swiss pharmaceutical and life sciences company Bayer (Schweiz) AG, has appointed Santha Ramakrishnan, Ph.D., as the VP and Head of R&D Data Strategy and Governance. 

Ramakrishnan brings a wealth of expertise as a senior life science strategy, operations, and analytics professional, having previously served as the Head of R&D Data Strategy and Operations at Sanofi. With a proven track record in driving business value through large-scale data and digital transformation, she excels in leadership roles encompassing management consulting and technology product development, seamlessly bridging multiple disciplines and establishing trusted partnerships with clients and stakeholders. 

Known for her natural leadership abilities, Ramakrishnan is deeply committed to the growth and development of individuals and organizations, while her specialties span various areas, including business transformation, informatics, M&A, project management, and talent development. She is a member of the CDO Magazine Global Editorial Board.
