Anupam is Executive Director and Global Head for Instrument Data Product and Change at JP Morgan. He and his team are responsible for the end-to-end delivery of all changes and for the instrument platform’s product offering and strategic roadmap that services all JP Morgan business lines.

Anupam is an experienced leader in the data space with 15+ years of experience in reference data at JPMorgan and, previously, at UBS. He strongly believes in the significance of data in general and reference data specifically as a differentiator and a vital component of any business strategy. Anupam and his team are motivated to provide instrument data that is timely, complete, and accurate to the best extent possible, using a wide variety of external sources, deep subject matter expertise, and operational processes. They provide JP Morgan with an edge by ensuring seamlessly executed client flows.

Anupam and his team currently have three pending patents related to data routing, data matching, and aggregated symbology.

Anupam serves as a member of the CUSIP Board of Trustees member and an On My Own Technology board member. On My Own Technology is an innovation and research organization that brings STEM learning, including AI/ML, to students at schools and colleges by offering educational robotics and electronics programs. Anupam holds a dual bachelor’s in electrical engineering and commerce from the University of Sydney, a master’s in computer science from Columbia University, and an MBA from NYU. Anupam has lived in Mumbai, Sydney, and New York.
