Oladele is an innovative data executive and experienced practitioner. As Vice President of Data Engineering at Flexiti, one of Canada’s fastest growing companies, he supports the strategic growth objective to become the leading provider in Canadian retail payments, through the effective application of BI (business intelligence) and AI. 

Over the past 18 years, Oladele has designed and developed data systems and practices for major Canadian payment and lending institutions. A few years ago, he also co-founded afterdata.ai, a knowledge graph solution to promote a shared understanding of business data and to advance organizational data literacy.

Oladele takes pride in providing the best leadership possible for his teams and projects. He builds strong teams that solve complex problems through a collaborative approach to drive positive outcomes. Oladele is also passionate about using data for social good and helping others do the same. 

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Portland in Oregon as well as a master’s degree in Information Systems from the University of Toronto.
