(US and Canada) We are pleased to welcome Ali Khan to CDO Magazine’s Global Editorial Board. Khan is SVP and Chief Data Officer at Experian, spearheading consumer data platform and strategy. He leads a talented team of analysts, architects, engineers, scientists, and product owners to build data platforms and analytics products which promote financial health and inclusion for millions of consumers.

A proven data leader, Khan has over 25 years of experience in data management, mostly in financial services. His previous experience includes serving as Head of Data and Analytic Platforms at Verizon where he built the Customer Data Hub, enabling machine learning driven insights and actions for over 100 million customers. He also built a data governance platform that enabled a successful rollout of the firm’s CCPA (California Consumer Privacy Act) initiative.

During his time at Verizon, he served as Squad Leader for WOW (Women of the World), mentoring seven talented female leaders. He previously held Director of Data positions at Scholastic and Bank of America.
