(US and Canada) We are pleased to welcome Aida Tahiri to CDO Magazine’s Global Editorial Board. As a global thought leader, our board of top executives shares expert opinions and innovations in data and analytics. We ensure that we champion the best companies, leaders, and insights that accelerate our community’s success. Members may serve as editorial writers, reviewers, content developers, and conference speakers.
Tahiri is the Senior Director of Enterprise Data and Analytics and Enterprise Data Office Chair for Apotex, Canada’s leading generic pharmaceutical manufacturer. She established the first enterprise data management function for the organization. She also developed and leads the organization’s data and analytics strategy. Tahiri has implemented strategic and transformational enterprise initiatives to safeguard EBITDA and mitigate risks.
A proven senior finance and data executive, Tahiri has led and managed accounting, finance and information technology teams in addition to administrative functions, human resources and recruitment, business operations and development throughout her career. She is adept at building and leading high-performing teams and works very effectively with C-Level executives cross-functionally to deliver business-critical initiatives.
Tahiri is passionate about giving back to the community and leads initiatives that support women’s causes and the underprivileged. She drives important campaigns at Apotex to support much-needed organizations, including the United Way and Look Good Feel Better. She is a founding member of the Women in Leadership initiative at Apotex, an organization that supports women’s professional development.
Tahiri is a Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CGA/CPA) member and holds a Master’s in Business Administration. She also currently co-chairs the CDO Toronto Forum for CDO Magazine.
