Shanbhag is the Senior IT Director of Data and Advanced Analytic Solutions at Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. As a seasoned data and analytics executive, he has over 25 years of experience and is passionate about leveraging data and technology to drive business success in dynamic and fast past environments.

Shanbhag’s key focus areas have been around driving data modernization strategies, architecting cloud-native data and analytics foundations, driving capabilities to promote self-service, and responsibly driving data democratization. Lately, his focus has been on driving advanced analytic solutions and internal adoption. He brings a collaborative leadership style, and a strategic mindset, and is dedicated to building high-performing teams and delivering innovative data and analytics solutions that enable organizations to gain a competitive edge.

In terms of his professional background, Shanbhag holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from IIT-BHU, India. He started his career in consulting and has held tech leadership roles at organizations like PwC, IBM, and Infosys working for various Fortune 500 clients in different verticals leading large D&A initiatives helping drive business growth and operational efficiency.
