(US and Canada) A similar effort to the CDOIQ symposium in academia is the 12th International Workshop on Quality in Databases (QDB’23), which will take place on August 28, 2023, in Vancouver, Canada and addresses both industry and academia (cf. data-centric AI). The workshop aims to (1) revive vital discussions about data quality, and (2) specifically exchange novel ideas and best practices about data quality assessment and improvement in the context of AI-based systems. QDB’23 aims to provide a platform for practitioners and researchers with different kinds of background to exchange their solutions, ideas, and challenges on data quality in the era of artificial intelligence.

We welcome original, unpublished research papers that are not being considered for publication in any other forum until May 31, 2023.
