comSpark Wrap Up from Jason Skidmore

Wow!  What an amazing event!  On behalf of Lead Tribune, the Host Committee, and all of our amazing sponsors, thank you for attending comSpark!

I was personally thrilled to see the collaboration, education, relationship building, and idea generation that took place during the event. Thank you to everyone for rallying together to make comSpark a success. You have all played a role in strengthening the IT community in greater Cincinnati and all of Southwest Ohio. 

First and foremost, we have heard so much great feedback surrounding the high school portion of the event. I have personally received notes indicating the positive impact it had on many of the students, and maybe more importantly, the positive impression that the students made on all of us. What an incredible base of talented, laser-focused young professionals we have in our community. Thank you to all of our hardworking educators for doing such an amazing job with them!

Congratulations again to our Rising Stars and IT Leadership Award winners! Your leadership and innovative work in our community is worthy of the recognition that you have received. We look forward to your continued involvement and thought leadership as we build our comSpark community. 

Also, a big standing ovation to all of you who provided talk tracks, panel discussions, and keynotes during the course of the event. The content, education, and insight from these sessions was world class and a further representation of the valuable resources and intelligence we possess in this region. 

I hope everyone had a chance to connect and engage with the outstanding vendors. These companies are part of the fabric of our IT community serving, leading and driving best practices for all of us every day. Thanks to all of you for your participation and financial support of the event. 

Finally, it would be remiss not to mention the start-up presence. I was thrilled to have a chance to personally connect with many of you, and astounded by some of the ideas and businesses that are being built right in our back yard. Thank you for your innovation and pushing us all to think differently.
