RSM US Wealth Management LLC Ranked No. 2 on Accounting Today's 2018 Wealth Magnets List

CHICAGO (July 05, 2018) – RSM US LLP ("RSM") – the nation’s leading provider of audit, tax and consulting services focused on the middle market – is pleased to announce that RSM US Wealth Management LLC was recently ranked No. 2 by Accounting Today on the publication’s twelfth annual list of the top 150 CPA Firms by assets under management (AUM).

Accounting Today’s "Looking for the Wealth Magnets of the Future" report states that "succession issues, the inadequate pipeline of next-generation planners entering the field, and the rising pressure to develop staff are top of mind for many of this year’s Wealth Magnets." The report goes on to state that the war for talent has been an issue in the larger accounting profession for several years — and fortunately, firms have been formulating solutions to it.

The report continues that the only issue 2018 Wealth Magnets mentioned with the same frequency was the need to puzzle out the implications of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act for their clients. "As accountants, the Wealth Magnets are particularly attuned to the tax issues related to financial planning — the tax reform enacted last December has certainly caught their attention."
