Meltem Kilicoglu, Senior Director, Global Head of Data Strategy, Governance and Data Sciences, Johnson & Johnson, Global Services, Joins CDO Magazine Global Editorial Board

(US and Canada) We are pleased to welcome Meltem Kilicoglu to CDO Magazine’s Global Editorial Board. Kilicoglu is the Senior Director, Global Head of Data Strategy, Governance and Data Sciences at Johnson & Johnson, Global Services. Kilicoglu plays a leading role in the formulation, external/internal insights integration, development, communications, and execution of J&J's cross-functional data strategy. Kilicoglu and her team lead the development of core platforms and processes to enable data-driven cross-functional goals and initiatives. As a product owner, she is responsible for core cross-functional platforms. 

A proven enterprise data and analytics executive, Kilicoglu has more than 20 years of experience in data and analytics management. Before J&J, she served as Senior Director, Head of Data and Analytics, Corporate Services at VMware in Silicon Valley, leading a global team of data professionals and scientists, which resulted in enterprise-wide value driving operational efficiencies, customer value, and team member engagement via responsible and innovative data asset utilization. She also worked on artificial intelligence/machine learning strategy and capability maturity to enhance business integration and adoption of emerging technologies.

Previously, Kilicoglu was a Data Strategy Leader and Head of Business Advisory and Compliance at Wells Fargo. She led initiatives related to customer and marketing data strategy development and execution, data strategy, governance and oversight, vendor spend management, risk management, and compliance for third-party data licensing. She was also part of a seed team that launched the Enterprise Artificial Intelligence practice and a data strategy leader on the Data Privacy, Customer and HR data programs resulting in firmwide impact. 

Kilicoglu holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and an MBA with a dual concentration in Finance and International Business.
