Ervan Rodgers Joins Designer Brands as Senior Vice President & Chief Information Officer

(USA and Canada) Designer Brands, one of North America’s largest retail companies, has recently hired Ervan Rodgers as its new Senior Vice President & Chief Information Officer. Prior to his appointment at Designer Brands, Rodgers has served as Chief Information Officer of State of Ohio where he worked for more than six years. He left an impressive legacy as State Chief Information Officer by playing a key role in advancing the InnovativeOhio Platform (IOP) and helping overcome the information technology challenges during the pandemic.

Ervan Rodgers is an award-winning Chief Information Officer and Information Technology executive – with technology rightsizing, startup/turnaround and systems security/implementation expertise – offers two decades of proven experience at such multi-billion dollar employers as Huntington National Bank, Accenture and Hewlett-Packard. He was accountable for P&L of operations with $50 million budget and staff of 105.

Ervan Rodgers has a track record that encompasses advising portfolio of Global Fortune 500 clients, including AT&T, Chevron, GM and MCI WorldCom. He replaced 19 company legacy systems, consolidating 31 call centers into two new sites, providing support to 30+ company divisions, and earning “Emerging Leader of the Year Award” for contributions. His accomplishments also include negotiating $38 million in vendor contracts, cutting budget by $3.7 million, and eliminating $700,000 expense. Ervan’s career highlights entail helping Collections Enforcement (CE) division generate $452 million in revenues – enabling organization to hit collection dollar goals – by providing CE with updated technological infrastructure and systems.
