To address the surging demand for network capacity and computational power, Verizon Business has launched Verizon AI Connect, a comprehensive suite of solutions designed to support businesses in deploying artificial intelligence (AI) workloads at scale.
The offering aims to address the growing need for low-latency connectivity, computing power, and edge security as real-time AI decision-making, known as inferencing, becomes mainstream. Verizon’s AI Connect integrates its 5G network, high-speed fiber connectivity, and edge computing environments with robust space, power, and cooling resources to deliver scalable AI solutions.
“We are seeing significant demand for reliable network infrastructure that can support existing AI workloads,” said Kyle Malady, CEO, Verizon Business. “As the technology evolves, our industry leadership, best-in-class edge-to-cloud connectivity, programmable network, and assets will enable us to meet these needs and accelerate innovation.”
Verizon is also expanding its AI ecosystem through strategic collaborations, including:
NVIDIA: Partnering to integrate GPU-based edge platforms into Verizon’s 5G private networks.
Vultr: Teaming up with the global GPU-as-a-Service provider to enhance AI infrastructure.
Google Cloud: Jointly developing advanced AI solutions for network optimization and anomaly detection.
Meta: Expanding an existing partnership into network infrastructure to strengthen AI capabilities for both companies.
