UAE Establishes AI and Advanced Technology Council

As the Ruler of Abu Dhabi, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, has issued a law establishing the Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Technology Council (AIATC). His Highness has also issued a resolution appointing members of the new council.
The AIATC will play a fundamental role in shaping the future of the country’s digital landscape, paving the way for a more efficient and sustainable future.
Notably, the council will develop and implement policies and strategies related to research, infrastructure, and investments in artificial intelligence and advanced technology in Abu Dhabi.
Moreover, the council will contribute to enhancing and ensuring the continued development and prosperity of the post-hydrocarbon economy.
