Automaker Stellantis has deepened its collaboration with Mistral AI to embed AI across its global operations and accelerate innovation in mobility, as per an official update.
Over the past 18 months, the two firms have co-developed AI solutions for in-car assistants and business workflows. The new phase aims to make AI a core driver of efficiency, agility, and customer value throughout Stellantis’ ecosystem.
“Our work with Mistral AI is helping us move faster and smarter,” said Ned Curic, Stellantis’ Chief Engineering & Technology Officer. “Together, we are shaping intelligent, adaptable systems that bring real value to our customers and help Stellantis stay ahead.”
To deliver on this vision, the companies will create two new platforms — an Innovation Lab to develop customized AI solutions for sales and aftersales, and a transformation academy to scale AI adoption from prototypes to full deployment.
Arthur Mensch, CEO and co-founder of Mistral AI, said, “Stellantis is a unique partner for Mistral AI because of its scale, engineering depth, and determination to apply AI across every part of the enterprise.”
The expanded partnership underscores Stellantis’ ambition to transform its operations through AI-driven insights, smarter decision-making, and enhanced customer experiences, setting a new benchmark for the automotive industry’s digital transformation.
