British education giant Pearson has announced a multi-year partnership with Google Cloud to develop AI-driven learning tools aimed at transforming classroom education for primary and secondary students.
The collaboration will harness Google’s advanced artificial intelligence models to create personalized learning experiences that adapt to individual students’ needs and pace while also helping teachers monitor progress and tailor instruction.
“AI can help reshape school education by replacing uniform teaching methods with personalized learning paths,” said Pearson CEO Omar Abbosh.
The deal is part of Pearson’s broader push into digital education. The company has already entered into similar AI-focused partnerships with Microsoft and Amazon Web Services to expand its suite of personalized learning tools.
