NVIDIA has announced the opening of its first research and development (R&D) center in Vietnam, highlighting the country’s growing potential in artificial intelligence (AI).
The new center will focus on software development, leveraging Vietnam’s strong pool of STEM talent, and fostering collaborations with industry leaders, startups, government agencies, universities, and students to drive AI adoption.
“We are delighted to open NVIDIA’s R&D center to accelerate Vietnam’s AI journey,” said Jensen Huang, NVIDIA’s founder and CEO. “With our expertise, we will partner with a vibrant ecosystem to build incredible AI right here in Vietnam.”
The R&D center will serve as a platform for researchers and startups to develop AI applications in critical sectors, including healthcare, education, transportation, and finance.
