Bengaluru-based ConvoZen.AI, developed by NoBroker, has been selected by the Government of India to deploy its conversational AI platform across departments managing citizen grievances and helplines.
The move marks a major step in India’s push to embed artificial intelligence into public service delivery under the IndiaAI Mission, a joint initiative by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY).
Recognized among the top 30 AI innovators in the country, ConvoZen is the only conversational AI start-up chosen for this challenge. Initially built to manage NoBroker’s customer engagement at scale, the platform now supports AI-driven interactions across sectors such as BFSI, healthcare, education, and ecommerce.
“We’re excited to show how AI can enhance citizen engagement and streamline operations within government systems,” says Akhil Gupta, Co-founder and Chief Product & Technology Officer of NoBroker/ConvoZen.
The company will now conduct proof-of-concept (PoC) trials across multiple government departments, beginning with the Department of Public Grievances. ConvoZen’s AI will monitor and analyze real-time citizen calls, providing insights into issue resolution and service efficiency.
The platform, which automates responses across calls, emails, and chats, aims to bring greater visibility and accountability to large-scale government communication. For its efforts, ConvoZen.AI received a ₹25 lakh grant from IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw.
