Citigroup has begun deploying new artificial intelligence (AI) tools to its global workforce, granting access to approximately 140,000 employees, according to Reuters.
In a recent memo, Citigroup’s Head of Technology and Business Enablement, Tim Ryan, introduced two key AI tools: Citi Assist and Citi Stylus.
Citi Assist is designed to help employees navigate the bank’s internal policies and procedures across departments such as HR, risk, compliance, and finance. “It’s like having a supersmart coworker at your fingertips to help navigate commonly used policies and procedures,” Ryan explained.
Meanwhile, Citi Stylus offers the ability to summarize, compare, or search multiple documents simultaneously, enhancing efficiency and information management for staff.
These tools are being rolled out this month in the United States, Canada, Hungary, India, Ireland, Poland, Singapore, and the United Kingdom, with plans for a broader global deployment in the near future.
