Citi Wealth has introduced an AI-powered assistant, Citi SkySM, designed to transform how clients access financial insights and interact with advisors, the company announced at the Google Cloud Next 2026 conference.

Built using technology from Google Cloud and Google DeepMind, Citi Sky will be rolled out in phases to U.S. Citigold clients starting this summer. The system is designed to function as an always-on member of the wealth management team, working alongside financial advisors.

The AI tool provides real-time financial guidance, including alerts on investment milestones such as certificate of deposit maturities, and delivers market insights from Citi’s Chief Investment Office. It also supports conversational interaction through audio and video, using real-time avatar technology, and launches with multilingual capabilities in English and Spanish.

“We believe Citi Sky will change the model of wealth management,” said Andy Sieg, Head of Wealth at Citi. “For decades, managing your financial life meant navigating apps, calls, and meetings. With Citi Sky, you simply ask and act. This is the shift from interface to intelligence, from transactions to outcomes.”

“At the center is a universal question: ‘Am I financially okay? Citi Sky answers that in real time — bringing together insight and execution in a way that is simple and clear. It doesn’t replace our advisors — it makes them more powerful, extending their reach and deepening their impact. In fact, Citi Wealth plans to add advisors in the years ahead,” Sieg said.

The platform is built on Google’s Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform and integrates multimodal AI capabilities, enabling seamless voice and video interactions. It is designed to operate within secure data environments and comply with regulatory standards.
