Adani Group, an Indian integrated infrastructure and green energy conglomerate, and Jabil, a company specializing in engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing solutions, have announced plans to form a strategic alliance aimed at building a vertically integrated AI infrastructure manufacturing platform in India, targeting the rapidly growing global demand for AI-ready data center hardware.
The proposed collaboration will combine Adani’s infrastructure, renewable energy, logistics, and data center capabilities with Jabil’s decades of expertise in engineering and advanced manufacturing. The companies said the initiative is designed to support hyperscalers, colocation providers, and enterprise customers seeking next-generation AI data center infrastructure.
A key focus of the alliance will be the development of large-scale manufacturing capacity for high-density AI racks, including liquid-cooled systems, servers, storage platforms, and networking equipment. The platform is also expected to produce critical supporting infrastructure such as power distribution units (PDUs), coolant distribution units (CDUs), transformers, switchgears, busbars, and thermal management systems, creating an end-to-end hardware ecosystem for AI facilities.
The companies said they are currently working on operational frameworks and formal agreements to advance the initiative. The move comes as global investments in AI computing infrastructure continue to accelerate, driving demand for advanced data center equipment and supply chain diversification.
If finalized, the initiative could strengthen India’s role in the global AI infrastructure, data center manufacturing, and advanced electronics supply chain markets while supporting the country’s ambitions to become a major hub for AI-driven industrial growth.
