Beshear Wedding

Robin Beshear and Kevin Clark thought their initial connection through LinkedIn would involve simply meeting for coffee to discuss career ideas.

However, when they discovered multiple shared interests and countless mutual friends, their initial meeting turned into a three-hour conversation over dinner. Every time they saw each other after that, they found more to enjoy about each other and more ways to laugh and have fun.

Robin says that one of the first things she noticed about Kevin was his infectious laugh and sense of humor. Kevin says that some of the personal qualities that drew him to Robin were her kindness and positive attitude.

After two years of dating, Kevin picked a romantic spot on a beach in Cabo San Lucas to propose marriage. When she said “yes,” their friends hiding nearby quickly began photographing the happy moment.

The couple picked the Cincinnati Hilton Netherland Plaza for the wedding. Kevin asked his father, David Clark, to be his Best Man, and Robin asked her mother, Mary Beshear, to be her Matron of Honor.

The ceremony began with music by Craig Aven and included a song he composed for Robin and Kevin — a song entitled “Always Pray.” After the seating of Kevin’s mother, Kay Clark, the bridal procession began with Bridesmaids Jessica and Kelli Clark, sisters of the groom and Lindsey Beshear, sister-in-law of the bride. Casey and Thomas Clark, cousins of the groom, and Ben Beshear, brother of the bride, served as Groomsmen. Robin’s nephew Logan Beshear carried the rings, while her niece, Campbell Beshear, decorated the bridal path with flower petals. Robin’s father, Ron Beshear, proudly escorted his daughter down the aisle. Chad Hovind, senior pastor at Horizon Community Church, officiated over the ceremony, and Ben Beshear read scripture.

After the honeymoon, the couple now resides in Cincinnati, where Robin works as Director of Talent Acquisition at Northwestern Mutual and Kevin is Partner and Director of Digital Marketing at DevPhase.
