Vijay Yadav is the Director of Quantitative Sciences - Digital, Data, and Analytics at Merck Manufacturing Division. Vijay heads the data science team that builds AI/ML-driven data products to drive business value for the division. He is an expert in data and analytics with more than 20 years of expertise in software development, data engineering, and advanced analytics. Vijay’s vast expertise in directing a global team of data scientists, engineers, and full-stack developers achieves high-impact results. He has held leadership positions at multiple companies, where he defined and implemented data initiatives.

Vijay is a writer, speaker, presenter, and keynote panelist at numerous data forums and symposiums. His article has appeared in publications such as TowardsDataScience, Medium, and the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE) magazine. He has appeared on DataFramed, AI/ML in Pharma, and Data Transformers, among other podcasts.

Vijay holds an MBA from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and a master’s in computer science from the Institute of Management Technology in India.
