Tyler Young, BigID Chief Information Security Officer, Joins CDO Magazine Global Security Board

(US and Canada) We are pleased to welcome Tyler Young to CDO Magazine’s Global Security Board. Young is the Chief Information Security Officer at BigID, where he is responsible for developing and implementing BigID’s security strategy and developing security use cases for BigID’s products.

Before joining BigID, Young served as the Head of Security at Relativity, building out Calder7, Relativity’s security program. He also worked as Global Forensics Manager and Digital Forensics Incident Response Consultant and led internal incident response investigations. Young also gained cybersecurity and strategy experience from Relativity, Zurich Insurance, RSM, Arete IR, and a government agency. He serves as a security advisory board member for Glilot Capital, GTM Capital, and Team 8, and as an advisor for several early-stage security startups, including Axiom, Cider Security, and Cyclops.  

Young received his Bachelor of Arts in Cybersecurity Investigations from St. Ambrose University and completed multiple graduate certificates in executive leadership and high-performance management at Cornell University. He is also a member of InfraGard’s Chicago Chapter and holds several digital forensics certifications.
