Country CDO Ambassador for the Nation of Malaysia Announced

(Asia) We are pleased to announce Piyush Palkar accepted the position of Country CDO Ambassador for the nation of Malaysia as part of our global partnership representing the MIT CDOIQ, the International Society of Chief Data Officers, Institute for Chief Data Officers and CDO Magazine. 

Piyush Palkar is the newly appointed Chief Data Officer of Carsome, the largest integrated car-ecommerce in Southeast Asia. Palkar is currently leading Carsome in building a robust Vehicle Decision Support System for Pricing & Inventory and AI Driven automations to increase operations efficiency backed by cutting-edge data technology stack. Prior to his appointment as CDO at Carsome, he served as the Head of Data at iflix and BI Consultant at Standard Chartered Bank.

Palkar is a hands-on data leader covering a range of areas and responsibilities, both technical and non-technical in nature, in order to create and execute data & analytics programs to drive business value. He has a proven track record in measuring and monitoring the effectiveness of analytics projects, and driving work to maximize analytical ROI and impact. Palkar believes that data is the foundation of present and future tech innovations and that emphasis on the need of establishing a solid base for all the fancy stuff that companies intend to do with data.
