Brian Stone has been named Chief Data Science and Risk Officer at Atlanticus Holdings Corporation

Brian Stone has been named Chief Data Science and Risk Officer at Atlanticus Holdings Corporation, a fintech company in banking, retail, and healthcare. Stone will expand Atlanticus' application of data science across the enterprise in the newly formed role of Chief Data Science and Risk Officer. He'll bring more than 20 years of experience in data and analytics, including machine learning and artificial intelligence, to Atlanticus' consumer marketing, customer service operations, and collection services. As Chief Risk Officer, he will continue to lead Atlanticus' credit risk function.

Stone was the Chief Risk Officer for Fortiva Financial before joining Atlanticus. Stone holds a bachelor's degree in mathematics and statics from the State University of New York College at Buffalo, and a master's degree in management science and information systems from Penn State University.
