USAA Appoints Ramnik Bajaj as Chief Data and Analytics Officer

(USA and Canada) Ramnik Bajaj has recently joined USAA as its new Chief Data and Analytics Officer. Prior to his appointment as CDAO, Bajaj served as the EVP, Head of Data and Environment, and Chief Data Officer at Wells Fargo where he was responsible for the transformation of the enterprise’s data management model and modernization of the data environment. He also worked as a Principal in Deloitte’s Financial Services practice for more than 21 years and led the Integrated Finance, Risk and Capital practice to help banking clients implement strategic data, analytics and reporting platforms.

As the new Chief Data and Analytics Officer, Ramnik Bajaj is set to lead the vision, strategy, policy, roadmap and delivery of data and analytics architecture, governance and solutions in advancing the data-driven culture and discipline at USAA.

Ramnik Bajaj is an experienced financial services professional with combination of strategy, operations and technology expertise and strong qualifications in data strategy, data management, AI/ML and analytics, finance transformation, risk management and regulatory matters. He has a successful track record of leading large and complex programs and deploying solutions for leading universal banks, card networks and electronic payment companies to address risk and regulatory requirements, achieve revenue growth and improve operational efficiency.
