Lana DeMaria is Director of Privacy and IT Compliance at Zillow and a data governance and privacy executive with more than 20 years of experience in governance, compliance, privacy, and AI risk. Previously, as the senior-most privacy authority at Alaska Air Group, she oversaw programs supporting more than 65 million annual guests across Alaska Airlines, Horizon Air, and Hawaiian Airlines and helped advance data governance in support of AI and analytics initiatives.

DeMaria has experience building global privacy operating models and working with frameworks and regulations including NIST, GDPR, CCPA, and PIPA across North America, Europe, and Asia. She holds FIP, CIPP, CIPM, and CISA credentials and an MBA in International Business. Her work focuses on developing governance and privacy programs that support responsible data and AI use while enabling broader business priorities.
