She is a three-time Chief Data & Analytics Officer across the healthcare, technology, and financial services industries. Most recently, she has held executive data leadership roles at Centene Corporation, Salesforce, VMware, and Wells Fargo. In each role, she has overseen enterprise-wide data strategy, transforming massive data ecosystems into secure, compliant, and AI-enabled environments. Her book, A Practical Approach to Building Trust in Data, addresses the business oriented view of enabling a high-trust and successful CDO journey.
Known for her risk-based, "trust-by-design" methodology, Batchelder specializes in dismantling data silos, engineering agile, product-aligned data teams, and mitigating algorithmic bias to ensure reliable data across complex operations. She is also a dedicated mentor who is passionate about developing the next generation of data leaders.
